Registration Age Base - ANNUAL REGISTRATION

The Bright Stars Junior Academy Program referred to as Recreational program is designed to give kids of all abilities a place where they get a chance to play soccer. Teams in the program are age-based with groups designated by individual birth year.  Junior Academy is a perfect fit for the younger U5 and U11 player, regardless of ability, who is committed to becoming a better soccer player and has a passion for the sport. The program is designed to prepare players for competitive soccer which starts at U11. Teams are coached by experienced coaches.

The primary objective of our recreational program for children 4-10 years old is to provide children an equal opportunity to learn the game of soccer. We work hard to provide a fun and stimulating environment in an effort in making the learning of the game as enjoyable as possible, maintaining a healthy approach to ease children into competitive soccer. Through the Junior Academy practice sessions, players will learn the fundamentals of soccer, build confidence, and ultimately learn the dynamics and values of a team sport. The program will always be open to all those that are not part of the academy during the school holidays.

The Junior Academy teams play in the Colorado Soccer Front Range League. U9 & U11 teams play 7v7 format with 8 games per season, 4 home and 4 away games. All home games are played at Aurora Hills Middle School. Away games are played at locations on the Front Range. Games are referred to by a certified referee, but due to a shortage of referees, a referee is not guaranteed. Academy teams usually participate in one tournament per season.
